Sharks...take one

Still no sign of my luggage! It's been 4 days and today the airline told me they're really not sure where it is. The airline did finance a little shopping trip, so I've got a few new things to help me get by.

Today we went on our Great White Shark adventure. Our captain, Brain, is the same man you see on the Discovery Channel's Shark Week. In fact I went to some of the spots featured on their progams. The waves were HUGE and the water wasn't very clear. Brian decided not to put the diving cages in because he didn't think we'd seen enough. Instead he used bait to bring the sharks right up to the boat. We saw about five Great Whites. I'm going back on Tuesday because it's supposed to be better diving conditions. Hopefully, I'll be able to get in the water then.

We also got to see an island covered with hundreds of seals. The seals are great to watch, but they kinda stink.

Tomorrow will be a relaxing day -- and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my luggage will finally get here.

Much love,
Kat

Kathryn,
Where's your luggage??Yikes, I hope you're managing O.K. Maybe you'll have to get all new clothes! I hope your new camera wasn't in there or any jewelry with sentimental value. It's Super Bowl Sunday here...cold and rainy. Enjoy the sun! I don't really think I would like to be on a boat with a Great White shark, but then you're much more adventurous than me. Let's see some photos! Love you sweetie, Mom

P.S. Let me know if you got your ticket corrected. How can I help?

Oh no! I can't believe they've lost your luggage. I hope you get it soon. But, like your Mom said, maybe you'll just have to get all new clothes! And, wow, how about those sharks?! I hope you get to get in the water with them. That would be amazing! Loving the updates, keep them coming (and post some pictures). Have fun!

Hope your luggage finally arrives - i know exactly how you feel. Northwest lost our luggage on the way to our cruise and had no idea where it was. I sat in the airport and cried. lol.

It turned up though, after it took a detour to Detroit. Random? Yes.

Can't wait till your next post, love you girl!

(smile) It's fun reading your posts...even if you are suffering from lost luggage and smelly seals. Sounds like you're taking it in stride pretty well. If you see a Kate Spade purse on one of your shopping jaunts, will you pick one up for me?
